PURCHASES
All fees are listed in CAD or USD, unless otherwise stated. We are not responsible for currency exchange rates, except as described below. If you are an international buyer, you may have the option to buy items in your local currency or preferably US dollars:
-
Depend on your device’s IP, copit will automatically display your order total in your local currency. Your order total includes the foreign exchange rate as well as any applicable fees or costs.
-
If you return a purchase that was purchased in your local currency, you will receive copit Credit in the amount you paid in your local currency converted to CAD or USD.
-
Offers can only be made in CAD or USD at this time. We may display approximate conversions to help you make the best offer.
-
Consigning and Selling is only available in CAD or USD at the time.
Because foreign exchange rates fluctuate, the price you see for an item in your local currency may change from day to day. The foreign exchange rates are updated daily. copit takes no responsibility for the accuracy of any foreign exchange rate applied to your purchase, especially return and refund.

RISK OF LOSS
You are responsible for any loss and damage after copit have handed the delivery of your purchase(s) or item(s) to the carrier. Replacement of purchases and credits to your account for shipments claimed as not received are subject to investigation, and we may require your signed affidavit before looking into any claim. We will replace products and credit your account at our discretion.

PRICING, AVAILABILITY AND SALES TAXES AND DUTIES
All prices are subject to change without notice. Available inventory is subject to change without notice. Therefore, we’re sorry that you may not be able to purchase the same item you originally ordered once canceled, and if the same item is available, it may not be available at the same price.
We will collect any applicable sales or use tax (collectively “Sales Tax”) and Value-Added Tax (“VAT”) on taxable items from buyers residing in certain jurisdictions where we have a legal obligation. In these jurisdictions, we will remit the tax collected from buyers to the appropriate authority. In jurisdictions where we do not collect taxes, applicable tax laws may still require consignors, sellers or buyers to collect, remit, or pay taxes to the appropriate authority.
Sales Tax like GST/HST and VAT will apply based on a buyer’s shipping address. Applicable tax rates and breakdowns may vary by jurisdiction.

AUSTRALIA
We are required to collect and remit a 10% Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) on orders shipped to Australia. When the total value of the purchase (including shipping cost) is less than or equal to AU$1,000, you should not be subjected to import duties.

CHINA
For possible cross-border ecommerce tax in compliance with the People's Republic of China, you will be asked to enter your government issued ID number at checkout. If you don't, you may be responsible for any customs duties and/or taxes charged by the carrier upon delivery.
If you believe you have been charged the tax inadvertently or have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at support.cn@copit.ca. We are always happy to help.

EUROPEAN UNION
If a purchase is shipped to an address located in the European Union, we are required to collect and remit a Value-Added Tax (“VAT”). VAT rate varies on the destination. The basis for calculating the VAT includes the item price, the insurance cost (if applicable), shipping costs and duties (if applicable).
In addition, copit may also be required to collect and remit import duties, in addition to VAT.

NEW ZEALAND
copit are required to collect and remit a 15% GST on orders that are shipped to New Zealand regardless of the total value of purchase. Fortunately, a purchase valued less than or equal to NZ$1,000 are not subject to import duties.
If the purchase is greater than NZ$1,000 (excluding shipping cost), VAT and duties may be collected at the New Zealand border.

NORWAY
If a purchase is shipped Norway and the total value of the order (excluding shipping cost) is less than or equal to NOK 3,000, we are required to collect and remit a 25% Value-Added Tax (“VAT”). The basis for calculating the 25% VAT includes the item price, the insurance cost (if applicable), the cost of packaging, and shipping costs.
If the total value of the purchase (excluding shipping costs) is greater than NOK 3,000, VAT and duties may be collected at the Norway border.

SINGAPORE
If a purchase is shipped to Singapore and the total value (excluding shipping costs) is greater than or equal to SGD$400, we are required to collect and remit a 7% GST. The basis for calculating the 7% GST includes the item price, the insurance cost (if applicable), and other tax charges.
If a purchase is imported via air toward an address located in Singapore and the total value of the purchase (excluding shipping costs) is less than SGD$400, it currently should not be subjected to GST. However, the Singapore government recently announced that low value online purchases less than SGD$400 will also be subjected to GST, effective January 1, 2023. Singapore will also increase GST to 8% on January 1, 2023 and then to 9% on January 1, 2024.

SAUDI ARABIA
Due to legal complications beyond our scope, we only ship DDU (delivered duties unpaid) to Saudi Arabia. As a result, you will be responsible for paying applicable Value-Added Tax ("VAT"), any duty charges plus any other applicable fees upon delivery.
To provide you with additional information on such VAT and duty charges, your order confirmation email will show you the estimated VAT and duty charges for your order that you may be responsible for upon delivery. These estimated VAT and duty charges are based on the VAT and duty rates set by Saudi Arabia, but note that these are just estimated amounts and the final amounts may vary (for example, Saudi Arabia’s customs regulations and VAT and duty rates may change between the date the VAT and duty charges for your order are estimated and the date your order is imported into Saudi Arabia).
While we don’t have the latest knowledge on the matter, there should be no duty charge if total import value (including shipping cost, insurance, etc.) is less than 1000 SAR. The general VAT Rate should be 15%. For further estimation, you could try through this link.

UNITED KINGDOM
If a purchase is shipped to United Kingdom, we are required to collect and remit a 20% Value-Added Tax (“VAT”). The basis for calculating the 20% VAT includes the item price, the insurance cost (if applicable), shipping costs and duties (if applicable).
If the total value of the purchase (excluding shipping costs) is more than £135, copit must collect and remit duties, in addition to VAT.

Customers may incur charges for purchase(s) of several items or heavy items.
Standard process within Canada and United States
Except for ReLIFEd items, consigned items or items in our possession, other items will generally take up to 20 business days to be delivered to buyer(s) in Canada and US (this ETA depends on the original location of the item(s), how quickly the Seller ships the item to us or to you, and how quickly the package gets out of custom). Fortunately, copit keep monitoring this and constantly provide you with updates.

International
For international orders, delivery times or ETA are estimates and not guaranteed, as shipments may be affected by custom clearance, pandemic, weather-related delays, or events outside of our control.

Undeliverable
If your package is returned to us, your item(s) will be deemed undeliverable and placed into copit’s warehouse. However, you will still have a period to sort this out and retrieve the item(s) in your Purchase dashboard.
If you used Guest Checkout, you must contact us ASAP for manual assistance. Our team will help you create an account so that you can manage and/or retrieve your item(s).

ORDER REVIEW
All purchases are subject to fraud review which may result in a delay. We may require additional information to verify your purchase(s). Until you receive final confirmation, please check your inbox (including spam) and respond to any requests for verification. While a purchase is being reviewed, the associated account could be put on hold until review completion.

ORDER CANCELLATION
In our sole discretion, we reserve the right to cancel any purchases.
For consigned and ReLIFEd items, you may have an open window of several hours after you have placed an order. The Cancel button should be available if you were to have a second thought.
However, certain items in our system are prone to auto-processing and cannot be canceled. But in any cases, you can still reach out to us ASAP as copit will strike our best to resolve any concerns that you have.
For most direct selling, your purchase(s) cannot be canceled once the seller has confirmed it.
Once canceled, pending charges should disappear from your account in a few business days. However, if we have successfully charged your card, we will refund the amount you paid for the item(s) back to your original payment method -- please allow 3-5 business days.

RETURNS
As copit wish for nothing but your utmost satisfaction, we accept returns on most items in the same condition that have been shipped to you. However, we do not accept returns or exchanges or refunds on any items stated as "Final Sale" (e.g., Custom, Personalized, Sample, Pre-Release).
In our sole discretion, copit may not issue refunds, or accept returns and exchanges for any purchases shipped to freight forwarders and then returned to us from different addresses, especially addresses in a different country from orders’ submitted information. All purchases of such items are FINAL SALE.
