ReLIFE TERMS & CONDITIONS

By participating in copit ReLIFE, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

GENERAL TERMS:
If you are interested in copit ReLIFE, simply select ReLIFE through the Consign process in the Sell tab, or you could always talk to us through Chat or via relife@copit.ca – It’s simply a better consignment program for damaged items that we could proudly bring back to life and put them back into the vertical economy.
Providing us as many photos as possible and the item description about any existing flaws or defects is the best way for our in-house experts, craftsmen, and seamstresses to evaluate if we could successfully ‘rework’ your precious items to their former glory.
If we determine that your items are eligible for ReLIFEing, we will notify you via email and provide you with an option to participate directly in the Consign process under the Sell tab. We may also offer a rough estimate of how much your item(s) could sell for after being reworked. If you choose to participate, we will send you a prepaid shipping label, which will be available for download on your copit account and also sent to you via email. It's important to note that the label will expire in 3 business days, so please send your item(s) to us promptly. If the label does expire, please contact us and we'll be happy to issue you a new one, maybe.

Disqualified items:

During our ReLIFE processing, if your item(s) are deemed inauthentic or significantly not as described, you will have the option to get it back or disposed by us. If you choose to have the item(s) sent back to you, we will send you an invoice for the shipping costs back to you. If you do not respond within 7 days of receiving a notice from us – via both email and your copit account, or if you do not pay the invoice within 7 days of receipt, we will dispose of the items in our reasonable discretion.

For various reasons, certain damages or defects are beyond repair even for the best material experts, seamstresses or craftsmen. In these cases, we will inform you promptly and give you two options:
• You can have the item(s) sent back to you and we will send you an invoice for the shipping costs. If you do not respond within 7 days of receiving a notice from us – via both email and your copit account, or if you do not pay the invoice within 7 days of receipt, we will dispose of the items in our reasonable discretion.
• We can donate the item(s) on your behalf or attempt to auction off your item(s) during a fire sale events as ‘final sale’ item(s). You will receive a portion in accordance with our Selling fee for ReLIFE, minus any shipping promotion costs during the fire sale event (any difference due to unsuccessful works done on your item(s) are on us).
Qualifying items:
After your item(s) have been ReLIFEd or reworked, in our sole and reasonable discretion, copit will grade your item(s), create listing(s) on your behalf with standardized photos, and put a price within previously estimated range by copit or being based on our market data of similar sold item(s). Still, you can always adjust the price at any time using the copit‘s web app within the first 4 months of listing.
If your item(s) remain unsold after 4 months, copit will reserve the right in our reasonable discretion, to apply a fair market price at 10% above the lowest price of the same item based on code and size of the item(s). If there is no lowest price available, we'll set a reasonable price. Moving forward, copit may apply price reduction on a monthly interval – each time this should not exceed 10% of the current price of the item(s).

Item(s) removal from ReLIFE consignment program?
If you wish to remove your item(s) from our ReLIFE collection, you may do so at any time. We'll bill you for any works such as spa treatment, any repair and restoration services have been done on your item(s), plus the shipping costs to send them back to you. If you do not pay the invoice for our work(s) and the return shipping label within 7 days of receipt, copit will treat as you have agreed to continue with our ReLIFE program. However, if you change your mind several times, this may incur additional charge for our cost and time.

Commission fees:
A commission fee is only charged when an item sold through copit ReLIFE program. For items sold for $500 and below, the commission fee is 50% and for items having higher, the commission fee is 45%. The commission fee includes any spa treatment, repair, and restoration fee, cash out fee, and shipping, for which may cost hundreds of dollars. Funds earned from selling items on copit can be deposited to your bank account through ACH direct deposit, cheque issuing, or payment sent to your PayPal account.
At copit, we’re serious about contributing to a sustainably vertical future, thus you may earn an additional 10-15% by opting in for in-store credits to fund any future purchases. Our in-store credits will never expire as long as we’re in business.

When do ReLIFE’s consignors get paid?
Your earnings will be added to your copit’s Piggy Bank after your item(s) have been delivered successfully to end buyer(s).
To ensure a safe and trustworthy commerce experience, copit generally process payments on the 18th of every month for any items that were sold and delivered during the previous month. For example, if your item(s) were sold and delivered from April 1 to April 30, payment will be processed on May 18th. If the 18th falls on a weekend, payments will be processed on the following business day. Direct deposit payments are typically transmitted to your bank within 48 hours, while cheques will be mailed and may take up to 15 business days to arrive. We're committed to making sure you receive your payments as quickly and efficiently as possible.
On special occasions, we provide additional discounts or bonus credits available through your Piggy Bank so that you can better fund your future purchases with us.

CASH-OUT FEES
When earnings are deposited through ACH direct deposit or PayPal, a 3% cash out fee will be applied. During promotional campaigns (e.g. free ACH direct deposits), copit may elect to reduce or waive the cost of the cash out fee. Consignors and Sellers may cash out if their total earnings are greater than $30.00. There is no cost associated with cashing out via cheques.
