ReLIFE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last update: Jul 1, 2025
By participating in copit ReLIFE, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

GENERAL TERMS:
If you have damaged items, simply let us know during the consignment process through Contact form, or chat or email. ReLIFE is a better program for damaged items that we could proudly bring back to former glory and put them back into the vertical economy.

Provide us with many photos plus description about any existing flaws or defects is the best way for our experts, craftsmen, and seamstresses to evaluate whether we could successfully ‘rework’ your items to their former glory.

If our experts determine that your items are eligible, we will reach out. We may also offer a rough estimate of how much your item(s) could be listed for afterward. If you agree to consign, we will send you a pre-paid shipping label. It's important to note that the label will expire within a certain period, so please send your item(s) in promptly. If the label does expire, please contact us and we'll be happy to issue you a new one.

Disqualified items:
During our ReLIFE processing, if your item(s) are deemed inauthentic, or not as described in our prior communication, you will have the option to get it back or disposed by us. If you choose to have the item(s) sent back to you, we will send you an invoice for the shipping cost. If you do not respond within 20 days of receiving the notification from us, or if you do not pay the invoice within 20 days of receipt, we will dispose of the items in our sole discretion.
Qualified items:
After your item(s) have been ReLIFEd, in our sole discretion, copit will grade and list your item(s) for sale on your behalf using standardized photos and a listing price within previously estimated range by copit or market data of similar sold item(s). You can always tell us to adjust the price at any time within the first month of listing.

If your item(s) remain unsold after 2 months, copit will reserve the right in our sole discretion, to apply a fair market price at 10% above the lowest price of the same or similar item sold. If there is no lowest price available, we'll set a reasonable price using market data. Moving forward, copit may apply price reduction on a monthly interval – each time this should not exceed 10% of the current price of the item(s). This does not factor in any promotions running concurrently.

Item(s) removal from ReLIFE consignment program?
If you wish to remove your item(s), you may do so at any time. We'll bill you for any works such as any repair and work done onto your item(s), plus the shipping costs to send them back to you. If you do not pay the invoice for our work(s) and the return shipping label within 20 days of receipt, copit will treat as you have agreed to continue with our ReLIFE consignment program. However, if you change your mind several times, this may incur additional charge for our cost and time.

Commission fees:
A commission fee is only charged when an item sold through copit. For items sold under $1000, the commission fee is 55% and for items sold for higher, the commission fee is 45%. The commission fee will include any treatment, repair, and restoration work, for which may cost hundreds of dollars if not more (e.g., some items such as damaged luxury handbags may require total deconstruction and reconstruction that will cost 2-3 times more than making an entirely new bag). Funds earned from consignment can be deposited to your preferred bank account, cheque issuing, or payment sent to your PayPal, or cash payment depending on your location.

At copit, we’re serious about contributing to a more sustainable future, so you can get an up to 15% fee reduction by opting in for store credits to fund future purchases. Our in-store credits will never expire.

When do ReLIFE’s consignors get paid?
To ensure a safe and trustworthy commerce experience, copit generally process payments on the 28th of every month for any items that were sold and delivered during the previous month. For example, if your item(s) were sold and delivered without issues from April 1 to April 30, payment will be pending for processed on May 28th. If the 28th falls on a weekend, payments will be processed on the following business day. Direct deposit payments are typically transmitted to your bank within 48 hours, while cheques will be mailed and may take up to 20 business days to arrive. We're committed to making sure you receive your payments as quickly and efficiently as possible.

On many occasions throughout the year, we provide additional fee reduction or bonus available to consignors, if you opt for store credit, so that you can better fund your future purchases with us.
